Good gear, bad customer service
In general, my daughter loves the catchers gear. Unfortunately, one of the straps broke on her leg guard after about 14 months of use. We put in a warranty claim to get the leg guard replaced, which was denied because it was past the 12 month warranty period.
I had no complaints with the refusal, but requested to purchase a new set of just the leg guards, since they do not offer the green ones separately. Rawlings flatly refused and indicated they were set only. Now we are stuck with no solution other than rebuying the set. I cannot recommend buying one of their specially colored set only items, because you will never be able to get a replacement.

Do Not Order - Very Cheap
Recently purchased a limited edition model - after 3 weeks of indoor training, the clip to fasten the straps on ripped. Contacted for a replacement leg guard and "its no longer available). I get that fully... here is the issue:
We only wanted replacement leg guards... Not an option - have to send back the whole set and pick a basic set which we never would have purchased in the first place. So my options are - buy new leg guards (wont be getting from here) and keep the helmet/chest we want or take something we never wanted. Seems to me that there should be a middle ground somewhere.
Long story short?? Buy All Star or Force3.... much better quality and customer service.

Worst Equipment and horrible customer service
If I could give zero stars I would . This is the most faulty equipment ever had it for four months and the padding is already ripped on it. Unfortunately, the warranty doesn’t work for us because her grandpa Bought it and he is no longer with us and they said that’s not an excuse as she laughed on the phone . They need a receipt to do a warranty. I will never buy another anything from this brand

⭐ Very Disappointed – Safety & Customer Service C
⭐ **Very Disappointed – Safety & Customer Service Concern**
This catcher gear was worn for 1 summer of tournaments.... 3 months of use.
I purchased Rawlings catcher’s gear for my son because I trusted the brand to provide quality, durable **protective equipment for a young athlete**. Unfortunately, we experienced an issue with the gear that raised serious concerns about its safety and reliability.
What has been even more disappointing is Rawlings’ response. When I contacted them for assistance, I was told that the one-year warranty had expired and that they would not replace the gear. When I asked about **repair options, replacement parts, or any other way to resolve the issue**, I was not offered a meaningful solution.
I understand that warranties have expiration dates, but this is **safety equipment**, not a disposable product. When families spend a significant amount of money on protective gear, I believe it is reasonable to expect the company to provide some type of repair or replacement option when there is a safety-related concern.
I am extremely disappointed that Rawlings was unwilling to work with us or even provide a reasonable repair solution. A company that sells protective equipment to young athletes should take concerns about the safety and quality of that equipment seriously.
**I would strongly encourage other parents to carefully consider the durability, safety, and customer support available before making a significant investment in Rawlings catcher’s gear.**
I hope Rawlings reconsiders how they handle situations like this. Customers should not feel abandoned simply because a warranty has recently expired.
