Player Preferred 14 in Outfield Glove

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect 1st base glove Rawlings glove is made with great leather and that made it easy to break-in. I had my son pay for half of the glove so that he has skin in the game and work harder. Since then he has made great plays at 1st and can’t put the glove down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great lasting glove. Great all around glove for me. I bought this glove probably ten years ago. Today I dusted it off and oiled it to play ball with my five year old. Seems like it will last even though I’ve neglected it for years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can’t beat the price Got this for my son after he grow out of his last catchers mitt after a good 2 years(he had the renegade). I can’t see paying $150+ for a mitt for a 11y. Found this on sale so I thought he could give it a try. He said it’s better then his renagade. It’s been easy for him to break in. Hoping it last him a few seasons.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This Glove is excellent! The craftsmanship is impeccable. This glove has lasted me 5 months so far and has almost no signs of giving. I highly recommend this glove for ages 13 to 30. Great job Rawlings!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fit, feel, and price The mitt looks, feels, and plays great. It did not take long to break in and my sons enjoy using it. Quite a value!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great glove, for the money The glove is well-made & looks durable. The lacing, especially where 2 lacing ends are tied, some of them won't stay tight without using some rubbing alcohol to soften the leather. This is why it didn't get the 5th star.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile Glove My wife helps out with our son's baseball and daughter's softball teams and needed a versatile glove to replace her well-worn 33 year old Rawlings glove. She really likes the feel of it and it was easy to break in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Raleigh Glove fan I just received this glove last week and couldn’t believe the price I payed for the glove. I have always been a Rawlings glove fan and once I get a chance to get glove broken in, I will be using for senior slowpitch travel tournaments. Glove feels great on my hand and 13” size is what I am accustomed to for shortstop position. Glove is great quality and love webbing and padding in the pocket

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great glove for softball Love that I didn’t have to really break this in. Glove is comfortable but was a bit tight. There are 2 pieces of leather lacing going from one side of the back of the hand to the other side. I untied both of these and moved the knot to the very end of the lace. Fits perfect now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality at a great price Grabbed this glove out of a lost and found bin at our rec league. That was two years ago and the mitt has been excellent. I still have a couple of rbg36 gloves that I’ve had for 30 years and have no doubt this one will last just as long. It’s pulling double duty while I have one kid in little league and another in softball.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A memory maker: Great value for quality glove This is a great value glove. I am a father of a softball pitcher and needed something that was a good utility glove for catching practice and fielding practice. Great deep pocket, easy to break in (maybe three weeks until it felt its best), and so far can handle the daily toils of practice and catching. Very happy with the color, sturdiness, and break in. Looking forward to many more memories with this glove.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from good for a month My mom bought this for me two years ago I started using it for 12u and it was really nice for about a month but now it hasn’t lasted one season get palm bubbles easily leather is horrible and can’t catch 60+ without catching it directly in the pocket i wouldn’t recommend this to anyone who plays on a team that everyone throws 50 plus because it won’t last good youth glove for new players tho.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful return system I bought this glove due to a review that said he used it with his girls softball team with great results. Glove was too tight and pocket not nearly large enough to handle softballs. It would be fine for a boy playing catcher in baseball but not otherwise. Anyway, when my granddaughter tried it on, it was obviously not usable so I’ll hear to tell you don’t try it for girls! My bad. I’ll try to make better decisions next time. But that’s not the reason I have this review a one rating. When I tried to go to return this glove, I called the number on my receipt and got a message to leave a voicemail ands they would return my call. That was impossible as the message keeps repeating without the opportunity to leave a message. On line, when I used the order number and email address that was asked for, I got a message that said they didn’t recognize the number or my zip code which wasn’t even asked for! So all I can say is that after waiting a few days and trying once again, I got the same results. I did buy the way go to Dicks sporting goods and bought a girls Rawlings glove which is nice. I’m not sure how to return the other but I’ll find out I hope.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Crap product Ripped apart in less than a month. Only used 8 times. Rawlings failed to support those that can't afford high-end. Sad. Every kid deserves a chance. Impossible with crap products name brands.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Base Model.... It's okay... Base-level glove, good shaping in the Preferred Series, leather in fine, break-in is easy. Purchased on sale and a good value... Full price is overpriced.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Glove Great product for the price. If you're looking for a more professional glove at cheap cost go with the sandlot. For catch the player preferred does the job.
