Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ready to Play Ball! The glove arrived much stiffer than I expected. I followed the directions of using a little glovolium and a mallet and it is already starting to move better. Will still take some time to break in properly. Certainly not game ready. The heel pad is much thinner than I expected. It is light in weight which I love! I am excited to get out on the field with this in the spring!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful forever glove! I bought this glove 2 months ago for my soon-to-be 11 year old daughter. She just started travel ball in fast pitch softball. I spotted the glove immediately on the Rawlings/Easton rep's table. It is amazing! I wish I was right-handed--I would by the glove for myself! Great leather, great fit; and it is breaking in nicely. I told my daughter this could be her forever glove. (I still use my Rawlings outfielder's glove from my first week of college ball, which was 32 years ago.). She held it and said "it's beautiful!" She plays 2B, and I expect this glove to become "one with her" as she grows physically.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not Ready when you get it Says Ready 2 Go (R2G) but it was not when received. I could barely close the glove or catch a bal. Had to have it broken in professionally and it is good to go now. Feels great on the hand and looks even better. Love the all black classic look.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Subpar glove quality for the Price Cheaply made glove with with a very not-so good heelpad, flimsy finger stalls and poor quality leather. I don't think this glove is going to last you 2-3 years. At this price you might as well get a custom 44, it's probably going to last you longer. Sad to see the current quality of Rawlings and Wilson gloves. You might have better luck than I did, but I would not recommend this to anyone. At this point the only gloves that I think are worth paying for are the MLB gameday models since those do seem to be of slightly better quality (and even then those are hit or miss).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great break in I bought this glove a month or so ago and the amount of time it took to break it in was a while but once it was broken it was beautiful. it stays stiff but soft enough to easily catch a ball which I really love, a great glove, would recommend it to anyone buying a third base glove.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top quality I’m extremely impressed by the quality of this Rawlings HOH R2G glove. It is made of extremely durable materials and will probably last forever. My son loves it. This is a couple of the features it has: Heart of the Hide® Leather: ( It’s Constructed from the top 5% of available cowhides, and features full-grain fingerback lining) R2G Technology: (25% additional factory break-in minimizes break-in time on the field). It has many more features but these were my top picks to mention. I’d definitely recommend the quality is excellent!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing/Avoid I bought this glove for my varsity high school catcher last year. It has been nothing but a nightmare ever since. The glove is defective so not only are there lumps in the padding that cause the ball to bounce out of the glove but the laces have torn out of the webbing of the glove every two weeks since. We are constantly needing to relace and work on this glove. I did contact Rawlings who said they would take the glove back and evaluate it but at that point we were in the middle of the season and couldn't break a new one in. Being that my child doesn't have an off season this whole purchase has been overly disappointing. Just beware because this glove is not cheap and it also doesn't hold up. Disappointing to say the least!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great glove but took time to break in It is a great glove and feels and looks very nice.The glove is comfortable and doesn’t get hot and is not heavy but my only complaint is that it says it is 65% broken in but it doesn’t feel like it.When I first got it I couldn’t squeeze the glove at all and took time to break it in.But other than that no complaints

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far so good I play softball and I have been using a 14" glove for the OF (I play center and left field) but wanted something a bit smaller since I may be moving to SS. Came across this beautiful red and grey trap-eze glove on sale. The description said it's "game ready" but it's still very stiff. However it only took me a few days to break in. I wanted a glove that I can use TIP (two in the pinky) and this glove is literally perfect. And the sound when a line drive hits it is music to any ball players ears. This glove gobbles up the ball with a quick release from the pocket that I was looking for. And I really like the trap-eze webbing. If you play hardball this would be perfect for the outfield. All in all it is a great glove.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Needs A LOT of break in...don't be fooled Just got this glove and the fact that they tout their "factory break in" is baloney. Glove is stiff and needs all the conditioning and break in you would get from a typical brand new glove. So when they say "ready to take to the field" on arrival, that is a very false claim imo.

He says this is the best glove he has ever had and loves it with all his heart. 11.75 is the perfect size for pitchers 13-16 years old. He flared the pinky and the thumb so he has even more room. 10/10 BUY THIS GLOVE!!!!!!!!
