My son began catching at 7 yrs old. We had previously bought only Bradley gloves. Obviously because they are youth specific. As he aged/sized out last year we bought maxed out "44" model glove. After a year we had lace problems. They popped everywhere. So I looked for a "forever glove". I had previously purchased a Heart of the Hide model for myself and adore it. So we decided to get one from Rawlings. We broke it in after two weeks of oil and catching and or beating it with a mallet. He absolutely loves his glove. Lives the chocolate color. Loves the feel. He is proud to wear it. He caught with it last week. Wore it for 3 out of 6 games. Won the Youth World Series in Lake of the Ozarks wearing it.
