Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent glove with one drawback Very high quality kip leathers and it has exact same specifications that Aaron Judge is using in the field. These configurations are something you cannot have on custom builder. One drawback is that there is no pinky loop so that if you have a big hands, it would be very very tight until you break it in. Other than that it is excellent glove for out fielders for the baseball.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High quality glove You can feel the quality of this as soon as it comes out of the bag and the smell of fresh leather hits you. after conditioning for 2 days this was ready to go and just in time for spring. Fits perfectly and hands dont sweat at all in these. Very stylish glove and build strong and with great quality and should last a very long time.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Blue to black I’ve slowly been breaking in the Griffin Canning glove for half a year now. One piece of advice I can give is to use any oil or conditioner very carefully and sparingly. I showed it to my buddy one day and he said he thought it was black. Obviously I had used too much O/C and rubbed away most of the blue. *If I could go back I wouldn’t spend so much money on a colored glove. This is probably more of a collectible, but oh well it’s too late for me.

The Pro Preferred leather is my favorite and the craftsmanship of this glove is unparalleled. The hand stall fits well too. I wear an XL batting glove but any sized hand should fit well with this great glove

My husband (who uses the glove) says the fit and feeling perfect. He is still breaking it in, but he loves it. Overall, the glove is super high quality!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from poor quality very unsatisfied with the poor quality of this glove, its laced so loose a ball can go between any fingers and balls blow right through the web,also glove came with blue dye from the laces on the glove . Definitely not a $500 glove. Thought we would get a step up from his old heart of the hide but this was a huge step down and disappointment. I would like to return glove

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Please read before buying This glove is dangerous. It’s old. It’s not hand crafted. The laces are so dried out they can’t be adjusted, but it is laced so loose (particularly the web) that it’s too dangerous to play with. Since it’s sat since 2021, the leather has dried and shrank, so I cannot get my small/medium sized thumb far enough in to reach the thumb loop. Please be extremely careful buying a glove like this. We have been a Rawlings family for over forty years, including at the professional level, but after a product this bad I will be switching brands. Rawlings should be ashamed to have sent out a product of this quality, considering its subpar features are a serious danger and risk to the player. Do not buy this for your child, I hate to say it but there are better options out there from other brands. If they let this out the door, and it is supposed to be the best of the best, I can’t imagine the quality of the lesser expensive models. Again, do not buy this for your child, and be EXTREMELY careful buying it for yourself. Rawlings today is not the Rawlings of yesterday. They fell off. I hope they make a comeback some day, but today is not that day.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing My Kid is in high school. Used glove in a total of four practices during summer and web laces broke. Didn’t even make it to a game. Thought spending this much on a glove it would have held up. He’s always used Rawlings since he began in little league and loves Rawlings gloves. His glove last year from Rawlings was half the price and held up to last game before breaking. You’re supposedly paying for better leather. Are we not using higher quality laces. I’ve never had laces break so soon on any cheaper Rawlings used.

Wouldn't have known unless I called. Website still says it's in stock and you can still plunk down your money... We shoulda just stuck with Wilson I suppose...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Feels like a true Pro Preferred I know my tittle sounds a bit crazy but if you have a passion for baseball gloves, like I do, you know what I’m referring to. The quality of Rawlings’ gloves has decreased significantly in the last 4 or so years but this feels like a true pro preferred, similar to what you’d get back in 2018 or earlier. The glove is extremely comfortable, good pocket, laces feel like they are high quality. It is going to take sometime for the glove to break in, which I honestly prefer. Highly recommend!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome Glove but long break in process I bought this glove around 5 months ago and It's been great so far. It's got a good deep pocket and nice shape to it. Only downside is to break the glove in it's a lot of work. I have to just to where it can catch bullpens in 5 months span but still needs more breaking in. I recommend if you want to get this glove to be able to catch with it everyday or have a usable pitching machine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from New Pro Preferred glove I have been a loyal Rawlings glove user for decades and I love the leather quality and trap-eze pocket. I have just received this glove and it seems "stiffer" than I recall with previous Rawlings gloves purchased, so I think break-in time will be longer. Glove is beautiful and I am glad I made my purchase in the early months of the off season so I will have time to work it in.
