Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best quality glove I've ever used. I bought this glove shortly before last years Softball Fall Season started. I had slated to play 3rd base and I wanted a premium glove for the hot corner. The leather on this glove is excellent and takes on the shape you want during break in and holds that shape afterwards. The glove easily handles all the hard hit line drives I've faced and the 14" size allows you to reach many balls you might not have gotten to. I occasionally play middle infield and it functions well there as well, Best choice in gloves you can make.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing glove Purchased glove in Spring 2022 and have used it for 6+ months for coaching duties and casual play. The glove color and pattern are striking. Everyone compliments it. I love the look so much. Arrived factory stiff, used a break in service, and then a few weeks of 3x weekly catch during winter workouts to fully break in. Functions great and I expect many many more years of premium use. I would recommend a tanned conditioner/lotion, as the deep-rich color does show wear with use, especially in the pocket, and needs refreshing every few weeks. I would buy this glove 1,000x over. I love it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great glove for pitching, but not for infield Perfect size (11-3/4”) and 2-piece solid web (to help hide the ball) make this a popular choice for pitchers. Although this is positioned as Pitcher/infield, I would not recommend it for infield play. I’ve found the 2-piece solid web just does not have as much flexibility as the Pro-I web, which is most popular with infielders. I was a little skeptical about the Hyper Shell back but I went with it because I really wanted an all-black glove for pitching and this was the only Rawlings all-black, 11.34”, 2-piece solid web HoH I could find. I’ve found it performs well and does cut down on the weight of the glove. So overall I am happy with this glove. Time will tell on the Hyper Shell’s long-term performance, but for now it’s good to go.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Platinum This is the first 31 pattern I’ve ever owned. Has a good shape to it. The pocket depth is perfect. The platinum oval looks amazing. This leather has a premium feel. The best part is the no heel or half heel. After a day of some mallet this glove was ready to play catch. Rawlings did a great job with this one.

It has the purple laces, which match our school colors and it is just the best ball glove he has ever owned. Rawlings is amazing and this glove is amazing as well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not the same Rawlings I purchased this Rawlings HOH first basemen glove in May 2024. The last HOH I was in 2001, still using it today, an incredible piece of craftsmanship. Not so much anymore. The leather simply isn’t the same standard. The seems lesser grade. Still a decent glove just not worth the money they charge. Shipping and communication to get the product was poor as well. Disappointed

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Still Deciding Still not sure….Still breaking it in, not a great fan of the leather (maybe it’s the dye, or not fully broken in yet) getting softer though. It’s a light glove compared to my A2000, and not as durable as I thought it would be for example when I catch a hard throw sort of pulls my glove back and doesn’t stay put ( glove maybe to lose on my hand)… But as I break it in further I can see it being a great glove that can last many years….would recommend. Nice colors as well..
