The Renegade catcher's helmet was redesigned to proved a better fit and feel behind the plate. In addition, its high strength, impact resistant cage keeps you protected from even the hardest of pitches.
This set also comes with a redesigned chest protector, which is engineered with our Arc Reactor Core technology. This revolutionary tech is patent-pending, and is comprised of an arched polymer plate with impact absorbing memory foam padding to disperse forceful impacts and dampen ball rebounds. The pad system meets the NOCSAE® commotio cordis standard and features strategically placed breaks to provide unrestricted motion and ultimate comfort.
Lastly, the lightweight, flexible design of the leg guards allows you to move freely behind the plate. As a result you'll react to pitches in the dirt a lot faster.

Great quality!
We bought the intermediate size for my 11 year old, he has been catching for the past 3 seasons. Previously he had hand me down catchers gear so now that’s going to his little brother and we bought him newer bigger gear. Upon receiving we definitely thought that this gear was going to be too big so we ordered the smaller one and ended up returning that one and keeping the intermediate. The quality is great, the padding is great. Our son was very happy to get this one for his birthday!

The entire set is awesome .
I bought the intermediate set for my soon to be 12yr old grandson
The only problem Im having is tightening up the straps on the chest protector.
Any suggestions!!!

Very Disappointed – Safety & Customer Service Con
⭐ Very Disappointed – Safety & Customer Service Concern
I purchased Rawlings catcher’s gear for my son because I trusted the brand to provide quality, durable protective equipment for a young athlete. Unfortunately, we experienced an issue with the gear that raised serious concerns about its safety and reliability.
What has been even more disappointing is Rawlings’ response. When I contacted them for assistance, I was told that the one-year warranty had expired and that they would not replace the gear. When I asked about repair options, replacement parts, or any other way to resolve the issue, I was not offered a meaningful solution.
I understand that warranties have expiration dates, but this is safety equipment, not a disposable product. When families spend a significant amount of money on protective gear, I believe it is reasonable to expect the company to provide some type of repair or replacement option when there is a safety-related concern.
I am extremely disappointed that Rawlings was unwilling to work with us or even provide a reasonable repair solution. A company that sells protective equipment to young athletes should take concerns about the safety and quality of that equipment seriously.
I would strongly encourage other parents to carefully consider the durability, safety, and customer support available before making a significant investment in Rawlings catcher’s gear.
I hope Rawlings reconsiders how they handle situations like this. Customers should not feel abandoned simply because a warranty has recently expired.
