Drop 10
Went with a 28inch drop 10 for my 7 year old son. This bat has the perfect weight and balance, mind you the pop on it is like no other. He hasn’t complained of any vibration or sting either when he gets jammed. This bat instantly became a popular and must use on his team.

Cool bat but be careful - cracked in 2 weeks
My son got this bat and was super excited about it. He loved the way it felt when he hit right on the soft spot....but less than 2 weeks of having it, it cracked. Another kid on his team has the bat and said it cracked for them at the beginning of the season - wish we would have known before. Rawlings does make it a pain to file a claim but fortunately we were able to take it back and get store credit for another bat - not the ICON. It's cool and pretty and works well when it's not damaged - but only time will tell when that crack will happen.

Warranty Process Terrible
The warranty process is abysmal. I filed a warranty claim on 5/20, and didn't get a return label until 5/28. I sent the bat in same day, and it was received on 6/3. It's 6/10, and I had to call for an update, which they didn't have. Ten games and counting without his bat.
This will be my last bat purchase from Rawlings due to this expelrience.

Sweet bat
First time swinging it, I could feel the pop. it’s hot right out of the wrapper. The sweet spot feels huge, and it just sounds clean when you barrel it up.
It’s super balanced, which helps me generate more bat speed without losing control. I’ve hit some of my hardest balls with this bat. Grip feels great too.
